Interactive worksheets: SQA-style written questions with instant feedback and model answers. Self-marked.
Two practice mocks — a fresh set of questions from the whole bank every attempt.
The real exam: one question paper — 80 marks, 2 hours 20 minutes, worth 80% of your award. Three sections: 1 Physical environments (30 marks — answer EITHER the glaciated uplands/coastal question OR the rivers/upland limestone question, then all other questions) · 2 Human environments (30 marks — all questions) · 3 Global issues (20 marks — answer any two of six: climate change, natural regions, environmental hazards, trade & globalisation, tourism, health). OS map extracts are provided and map, graph and diagram skills are tested throughout. The assignment (20 marks, 20%) is on a geographical topic or issue of your choice: research (including fieldwork), then a write-up of up to 1 hour using only your Processed Information (two single-sided A4 sheets or one A3 sheet), marked by Qualifications Scotland.
These practice mocks are quick-fire 1-mark questions from the whole bank — they test knowledge and skills, not extended writing, so use the worksheets and past papers for that. Format from the current course specification (v5.1, Sept 2025, valid from 2025–26) and the 2026 paper. Nat 5 Geography is not one of the courses changed for 2026–27, but Qualifications Scotland surveyed views on possible future changes in June 2026 — check the subject page or with your teacher.
